The Memorial Services for Mrs. Pat Wright had been set for Saturday, October 23rd, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at TORRANCE HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM. The service is scheduled for one hour. After the Memorial Service, there will be an Irish Wake, Mrs. Wrigh'ts wish, at Keegan's Irish Pub, 1434 Marcelina, Torrance. Keegan's is directly across the street from the Post Office in downtown Torrance. Keegan's is owned by Angel and Shawn Willet, both THS grads and students of Mrs. Wright. Please spread the word. Her obituary should be appearing in the Daily Breeze and LA Times in the next couple of days. The family will be requesting in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Patricia Wright Scholarship Fund at THS. We will have information on that in the next few days.
Thank You for you love and support to the Wright Family during this time. They do appreciate all of it, especially the memories of Mrs. Wright.
With Respects

===================================================
Fellow Alumni of THS,
Just wanted to tell you how nice the memorial was for Ms. Wright. I attended with Rock, my daughter Desiree, and her boyfriend. There were several speakers and they all encompassed a different part of her life. I felt that everything was said that needed to be said about Ms. Wright. There was so much we didn't know as students about this special woman. It was very nice to see fellow students and teachers we had at Torrance High. Toni Rios and Steve Beyersdorf were there from our class, Laurie Elliot, her daughters and mother from '71, and Marie Poulin's younger sister from '79. Some of the teachers in attendance from our vintage years were Sean Young, Mr. Little, Mr. Radcliffe, Mr. Williams, Mr. Ronan, Mrs. Jeffrey, Ms. Mondschein, and Mr. Hatter.
There were some humorous moments and some very touching moments about what a generous person she was. A bagpipe played "When Irish Eyes are Smiling", "Going Home", and "Amazing Grace." The Irish Wake was exactly what I think Pat would have wanted. I attended with my daughter Desiree. There were all ages of students there, encompassing the 30 plus years she taught and we all talked and shared experiences of Torrance High and Ms. Wright. I planned on making just a brief appearance and leaving quickly, but I ended up being one of the last to leave. Ms. Wright's two sons were very touched by our class donation to the scholarship fund. I am so glad I attended and was a part of this very special and touching memorial to Ms. Wright.
