We all got together earlier this year for a great day of golf and a fantastic party afterwards.  In addition to telling lies all day, we ate some great tacos, carne asada, and salsa prepared by John Solis.  Many thanks to Monte for organizing the event, to Scott for providing a great home for our party afterwards, and especially to those golfers who threw in an extra amount on top of their fees to help in the cost of this web site.  There were two classmates who donated even though they do not golf.  This page of our web site is dedicated and made possible by you!  

A Stableford scoring system scramble (whatever the hell that is) was played with teams grouped below.  Score cards were not turned in as requested, but the unofficial winner appeared to be Team Stratos/Elkins/Elliot/Malczewski.  However, the integrity of this team was in question from the very beginning of the match when Elliot arrived holding his own tournament trophy before play had even started.  Louisiana Pro and Katrina refugee, Billy Mundy, was flown in by Scott to provide tips and pointers on how it’s done down there.  Pine cones were left encircling pins, tee box markers were tossed around, beer cans were left like ornaments on flags, and carts were used as 4-wheelers.  In general, we’re lucky if we will ever be invited back to Los Verdes again.
